Location to be agreed · Remote / hybrid working

Support the way SGG Research explains its work to quantitative researchers, investment teams and potential partners. This role combines social media operations, content creation and editorial review with hands-on editing of long-form and short-form video.

Location and working arrangements

  • Location to be agreed, with a remote / hybrid way of working. Location options include London, Hamburg (Germany) and Canggu (Bali), with office use arranged with the team.
  • In-person meetings, workshops and events are arranged according to project needs. Location, timing and any travel requirements are agreed with the team.

What you will work on

  • Support our social media presence through content planning, publishing, community engagement and a consistent editorial calendar.
  • Create and adapt posts, articles, visual explainers and research updates for different platforms and audiences.
  • Review drafts for clarity, grammar, source attribution and consistency with our published research. Keep historical findings and future plans clearly distinguished.
  • Edit both long-form and short-form video: select material, build a clear narrative, cut interviews and explainers, and prepare concise clips for social channels.
  • Add captions, clean up audio and adapt framing, pacing and export settings for different formats, including vertical video.
  • Track content performance, document what works and suggest practical improvements to topics, formats and distribution.

What you should bring

  • Strong written English, careful proofreading and an interest in making complex topics understandable.
  • Practical experience creating social media content and familiarity with platform-specific formats and audience expectations.
  • Confident video editing in a tool such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro, with examples of both longer videos and short clips.
  • An eye for typography, composition and consistent visual presentation; experience with design tools is useful.
  • A structured working style, attention to detail and the confidence to ask questions when a research claim needs clarification.

Useful additional experience

  • An interest in finance, data analytics, technology or B2B communication. You do not need to arrive as a quantitative researcher.
  • Basic motion graphics, interview preparation, analytics reporting or managing an editorial calendar.
